NIGEL
RUSHMAN, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Nigel's experience spans 25 years in major international sports and events. He has developed and implemented innovative programmes for over 500 events in 30 countries including three Rugby World Cups and three Cricket World Cups amongst numerous other projects.
Nigel is a well-known figure in the international business of sport. A founding partner of industry publication Sport Business International, Nigel prides himself on his 'hands-on' experience of successful event delivery.
Frequently invited at a senior level to present his experience and thoughts referring to event management, scalability, temporary facilities, security, knowledge and experience transfer to International Sports Conferences and gatherings of the IOC, FIFA, GAISF and others.
In addition to his role as Executive Chairman
of Rushmans and being "hands-on" with all Rushmans projects and clients, Nigel was contracted as Event Director of the ICC CWC West Indies 2007 Inc with the responsibility of implementing the Event Management, Security, Media Management, Accreditation and Volunteer Programmes for the Cricket World Cup across the nine participating countries in the Caribbean region.

GLEN
KIRTON, CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Glen has spent his working life in sports
administration, sports marketing and event management.
At the Football Association, he acted at various times
as Competition Manager, Press Officer, Commercial Director,
TV negotiator, England Team administrator and finally
as Tournament Director of Euro 96.
Since leaving the FA, he has been involved in the commercial
side of sport with ISL, Craigie Taylor, Fast Track and
Navigator.
Glen’s contacts with Rushmans go back to Euro ’96,
when he was the client, Rushmans delivering a highly
successful Media and Accreditation Service. He renewed
acquaintances in 2006, when he was Project Director for
the Asian Games in Doha, and again in 2007 when he acted
as Media Manager at the St Lucia venue for the ICC Cricket
World Cup.
At ISL, Glen headed a team that devised and delivered
the marketing programme for the FIFA World Cup and also
handled the sponsorship sales for the UEFA European Championship.
He is a languages graduate and is competent in French,
Spanish and German. While at the FA, he conducted on
behalf of FIFA more than a dozen Football Administration
courses throughout the world.

RORY STEYN, DIRECTOR OF SECURITY
Rory has been responsible for the security of numerous events worldwide in his capacity as an International Security and Close Protection specialist. Rory was engaged to assess the security at venues for the Cricket World Cup 1999 in the UK. This subsequently led to the formation of the 'Security Directorate' for the South African host venues for the 2003 World Cup, on which he served for 4 years.
A retired senior police officer, Rory brings direct experience of working with, and the requirements of, international law enforcement and government agencies.
For 5 years Rory accompanied President Mandela internationally as team leader of his close protection unit. As well as being Rushmans Director of Security, his South African based company is one of the world's largest executive and personal protection companies with particular experience of international sports events. They are also contracted to South African national teams and provide all security to visiting teams.
Currently Rory is responsible for advising the Security Department of the ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 with regards to its implementation across the nine participating venues.

PENNY
HICKS, GENERAL MANAGER
Penny joined Rushmans in August 2005 as events project coordinator.
Based for three months in the Caribbean, Penny has recently been responsible for coordinating and supporting the Rushmans team with their contractual obligations to the ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 Inc.
Prior to that, Penny was responsible for the coordination of the Rushmans Team in their provision of Media Services for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha.
Previously Penny worked for the English Cricket Board as an events coordinator for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2004.
As General Manager, Penny is responsible
for supporting Nigel Rushman on current projects, new
business opportunities and day to day management of the
business.

PETER MCINTOSH, VOLUNTEER PROJECT MANAGER
Peter was a member of the Organising Volunteer Committee for the ICC Cricket World Cup South Africa 2003 and was Vice Chairman of the Volunteer Programme for the South African President's Cup in 2003.
More recently, Peter was responsible for the implementation of the ‘VIBES’ Volunteer Programme for the ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 and together with the South African Event regards their success as two of his main achievements.
In addition to the Volunteer Programmes, Peter also heads up the Risk Assessment arm of Rushmans and was responsible for the Risk Management element of the 2007 World Cup.
Over the past nine years Peter has facilitated at several major South African Organisations at many major South African corporations. Peter is passionate about achieving customer service excellence and people development. He has won two awards from South African Chamber of Commerce for "Innovative Schemes for Developing People" and his business and community based background gives him a great deal of depth in working with volunteer programmes. He prides himself on getting the maximum out of volunteers, whilst in turn giving volunteers the maximum return.
Peter is currently undertaking the roles of Rushmans Volunteer Programme and Risk Management Manager for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Championship 2007 to be held in South Africa from 11 – 24 September 2007.

PAULA WARREN
Paula has been managing major events around the world and in the UK for ten years. Projects include 2 Cricket World Cups, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, managing both the event logistics and TV Production.
Paula has previously worked as a member of the Rushmans team on ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and Doha Asian Games 2006. She is currently Rushmans Accreditation Project Manager for ICC Champions Trophy Pakistan 2008.

KAREN HALL, ACCOUNTANT
Karen joined the Rushmans team in September 2005.
Having previously worked as a Management Accountant and Financial Controller, Karen brings to the team over 15 years experience of the accountancy world.
Prior to Rushmans, Karen headed up the accounts team for U.K property developer Berkeley Group and was responsible for the training of other management accountants throughout Europe for a U.S Software company.

ANDY
CLARK, DIRECTOR CONFERENCES & EVENTS
Andy joined the Rushmans sales team in 1994 working to secure contracts for our Accreditation and Media Management Division such as the IndyCar World Series, England Soccer and Cricket Internationals, South African Rugby Union Test Series, Hong Kong Government hand-over ceremony, Boxing World Championship fights, and 1996 Coca-Cola African Cup of Nations.
During his time with Rushmans he benefited form a great deal of experience working in an operational capacity on many of the events secured.
He left Rushmans in 1997 to join the original start-up team at Sport Business International, the leading publication for the international sports industry with a global reach of 30,000 monthly readers in over 100 countries. He remained there as a Board Director until 1999 when having helped secure long term investment for the publication, he left to set up his own sports consultancy working on numerous projects including rights and sponsorship sales on pro beach soccer and the start-up of a talent management agency handling premiership footballers.
Andy came back into the Rushmans fold in 2004 to oversee the launch and successful introduction of the International Sports Security Summit follow which became recognized as the leading global conference and exhibition for Sports Security. The inaugural International Sports Event Management Conference followed and this year, these two well established international shows will be merged to create an industry super event to be held at the new Wembley Stadium.
He is now responsible for all commercial activity within Rushmans' Conference & Exhibition Division focusing on International Sports Event Management and Security which will take place on October 31st and November 1st 2007 (www.isems.com).
Andy co-ordinates new business activity for Rushmans' Event Management and Consultancy Services. He is always happy to talk about Rushmans work on over 500 events in 30 countries over the last twenty years and how we may be able to assist you in delivering a world class event.

PETER HENSTOCK, SOUTH AFRICAN REPRESENTATIVE
Peter started with Rushmans 12 years ago and has since then been a member of the Rushmans management team involved on a number of projects, including the 1995 Rugby World Cup, 1996 CAF African Cup of Nations Soccer Championships, 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development, 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup, 2003 Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit (CHOGM) in Nigeria, President Nelson Mandela’s 85th Birthday celebration in Johannesburg and the 2005 West Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
Peter has organised sports and political events in Africa, Europe and in India, in cities as diverse as Abuja, Accra, Cape Town, Dar-Es-Salaam, Dublin, Dubai, Johannesburg, Mumbai, Nairobi and New Delhi, including being involved as Provincial Chief of Operations during the first South African National Democratic Elections, as consultant to the Cape Town 2004 Olympic Bid Committee and in the organisation of the World Junior Weightlifting Championships, the World Fencing Championships and two UCI Mountain Bike World Cups.
Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Peter is the Rushmans Regional Representative for Africa, travelling regularly to East and West Africa, and is currently part of the Rushmans management team for the ICC Twenty20 World Championships 2007 to take place in South Africa in September 2007

Christel joined Rushmans in 2006.

BOB NICHOLLS SECURITY CONSULTANT
Robert has extensive knowledge and experience in the demanding field of personal protection and has been involved in the training of protection personnel for many organisations. He was appointed as the first civilian consultant to the South African Police Services during the restructuring of their VIP Protection Unit in 1994 and consulted to the VIP executive protection training for the African National Congress (ANC). He has worked extensively in Africa and the sub continent and is responsible for the operation of NSA’s Middle East initiative.
Robert’s sporting experience includes coordinating the protection of cricket, soccer, basketball, and rugby teams in South Africa and the South African cricket tours to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. He has worked extensively in Africa and the sub continent and for the past 6 years he has been involved in the protection of all International cricket teams visiting South Africa including the CWC 2003 and the 2006 ICC Championship Trophy in India.

PETER OSBORN, PROJECT MANAGER
Peter started with Rushmans 12 years ago, and has worked on numerous projects including three ICC Cricket World Cups, two IRB Rugby World Cups, an African Cup of Nations, a Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting and the recent 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
With a project management background in both global telecommunications and sports development, Peter’s expertise have been used in planning, delivering and managing Accreditation and Media Services and Facilities and he has represented Rushmans in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
Most recently, Peter worked as Accreditation Manager on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 in the West Indies and will be the Accreditation Project Manager for the ICC Twenty20 World Championship taking place in September 2007 in South Africa.

NICOLA
FLEMING, EVENT MANAGER
Nicola joined Rushmans in June 2007 as Event
Manager.
Nicola has helped co-ordinate many of the Rushmans projects including involvement in the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa, as well as the International Sports Event Management & Security event and the SportBusiness ISEMS Awards at Wembley in 2007.

RACHEL BUXTON, BUDGET MANAGER
Rachel started working for Rushmans in 2003 on the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Nigeria, supporting Rushmans' Project Director. Previous experience also includes management for both the Event Management Department budgets for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and Doha Asian Games 2006
Before working for Rushmans, Rachel's role was as Head of Conferences at UBS Warburg, London and Project Director at Imagination, London (a design and corporate communications agency).

Caroline joined Rushmans in 2001 and has since co-ordinated many of the Rushmans projects including involvement in 2003 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe, the Venue Assessment Team tour for the 2007 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies and the Johannesburg World Summit for Sustainable Development.

Elle joined Rushmans in Spring 2007. Elle has been managing events for the past seven years that span several genres, sizes, industries and countries. TRUDY CLARK, PROJECT DIRECTOR
Trudy Clark brings to Rushmans a wealth of experience from the sports event world having just completed the role of Manager, Event Management Department for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 (ICC CWC 2007). Trudy has spent the last 18 months based in Jamaica heading up the Caribbean based event team for ICC CWC 2007 Inc. In addition to being a member of the senior management team and managing the event team programmes of VIP & Protocol, Tournament IT & Communications, Visitor Experience, LOC Liaison, Volunteers and Medical, Health & Anti-Doping, Trudy was responsible for delivering the match day operations planning and implementation across 12 venues in nine different countries working with nine Local Organising Committees.
Prior to joining Rushmans Trudy worked at Cricket Australia for six years as an Event Manager overseeing event presentation, development of pricing and ticketing strategies and managing Australian team player appearances. During her time at Cricket Australia Trudy was seconded to the International Cricket Council to work on the match day operations delivery of the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 in Sri Lanka and co-ordinate the Participating Nations Agreement (PNA) deliverables and match day operations delivery of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003 in South Africa.
Previous to her roles in cricket, Trudy was an integral member of the marketing team for Australian Rules Football club, the Carlton Football Club.
Trudy is currently undertaking the role of Rushmans Project Director for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Championship 2007 to be held in South Africa from 11 – 24 September 2007
