"Just
a short note to thank you and your team at
Rushmans for the excellent kindness and pleasant
and professional way you dealt with me during
the world cup. Special mention must go to Peter
Osborn and Stephen van der Merwe who did everything
in their power to make the Twenty20 experience
a pleasant one for all. All the photographers
I spoke to agreed with my sentiments."
Neil Lane, photographer

"Now that the first ever ICC World
Twenty20 cricket tournament is a thing of the
past I wish to place on record my most sincere
thanks for all the kindness shown to me not
only by Gary, Mike and yourself but everyone
else connected with the Rushmans organisation
in Durban. Everyone went out of the way to
accommodate me at all matches in a manner that
befits a King. I have nothing but praise for
all the staff of Rushmans for a job exceptionally
well done."
Dennis Done
South African Press Association
"Over all the management during ICC
World Twenty20 2007 was spot on and it was
a pleasure working as a journalist at the event.
As always, the Rushmans staff were brilliant."

"Without your team, an event which cost
us well over six figures to cover would have
been a disaster. I have lost count of the number
of times Mandy, Sarah, Keith, Paula and your
other team members came to our rescue. Our fantastic
press box position behind the bowler's arm in
the final at the Kensington Oval was another
example of the constant consideration you showed
us. I know that our photographic and television
teams feel the same way."
Jon Bramley, Deputy Sports Editor

"As the dust settles, and we prepare
for the 1st Test v West Indies at Lord's on
Thursday - a thank you from me.
Frankly I do not know what we would
have done without you. Your expertise, tact
and patience was an example of how to do it
for all photographic managers world wide - we
were lucky to have you. Thank you so much for
everything.
(If you are not coming in 2011, I
doubt that I will even attempt it!? Maybe the
attached photo will remind you to think twice!)."
Patrick Eager,
independent photographer
" One thing that has struck me at both
this venue and Trelawny, was the pleasant friendliness
and crisp efficiency of the people working there.
Rushmans, the company contracted to manage the
media and accreditation process, had been struggling
through a deluge of late applications, but when
I arrived, forewarned of expected problems, I
was amazed at how well they had coped with the
challenges. The almost completely Jamaican staff
worked through the problems, took my photo, and
presented me with my pass in a matter of minutes.
Those of us from the Caribbean or who have spent
any time here know that this is often not how
things work here."

"Good Media Managers really stand out
at events like this (perhaps because we journalists
expect the worst) and Cathy Treasure on St Kitts
was excellent. I found the working environment
and support generally very good. Even when I
had IT problems, which you invariably do on such
trips, there was somebody on hand to help me
out. Indeed, on one occasion, the IT support
staff set up my WiFi access free for one day
just to help me out - and you cannot ask for
more than that."

"When a country hosts international
events such as the 15th Asian Games, it allows
media exposure to its capabilities and experience.
We want to bring only the best who can deliver
first class operations for the media representatives
during the Doha 2006 Games who will reflect
our positioning ahead."
Yousef Mohamed Al Othman, Deputy Director
General, Operations
Doha Asian Games Organising Committee
"The Rushmans Team has been a core
reason why our planning phase has made such
tremendous progress towards meeting the goals
of the CWC 2007 Master Plan. Your continued
role will help ensure implementation of that
Master Plan is just as successful."
Donald Lockerbie, Chief Operating Officer
ICC CWC 2007
"I write on behalf
of the delegation that traveled from the Caribbean
to observe the hosting of ICC Cricket World
Cup 2003 to thank you sincerely for the wealth
of knowledge and expertise that you so openly
shared with us. May we again congratulate your
organisation on your role in the successful
staging of one of the world's largest sporting
events."
Chris Dehring, Chief Executive Officer
ICC CWC 2007
"It was an honour and
a privilege for all of us in Zimbabwe to work
with your highly professional team. We are
all so proud to have played our small part
in ensuring that the tournament in Harare and
Bulawayo was such a huge success."
P F Chingoka, Chairman
Zimbabwe Cricket Union
"Nigel, Mandy and your team can take
much credit for making an enormous contribution
to the success of the ICC Cricket World Cup
2003. David Hopps of the Guardian Newspaper
said to me at the Wanderers Stadium that our
media facilities were of Olympic standard.
It was indeed a pleasure to have worked with
you, Mandy and your team - for which we thank
you."
Dr Ali Bacher, Executive Director
ICC CWC South Africa 2003
"Thank you for the
way in which Rushmans accommodated the budget
for this project and for the effective relationships
that you used to our advantage with suppliers
and the media alike to benefit the World Summit."
Moss Mashishi, CEO
Johannesburg World Summit
"On behalf of my delegation,
representing the largest international prize
for the environment under the auspice of the
United Nations, we would like to take this
opportunity to thank you as well as your organisation
for your professional efficient support provided
to us during the Summit for the preparation
and organisations of the press conference and
NGO's Briefing. We were delighted with the
facility and service."
Sidi Cherif, International Relations Advisor

"I have to congratulate
and thank Rushmans. Their professionalism,
expertise and knowledge of the field has allowed
them to master what has been an extremely complex
project. The massive media coverage, and the
superb facilities speak for themselves."
Russ Thomas, Chairman
Rugby World Cup Ltd
"Now that the dust
has settled on the Rugby World Cup 99, I wanted
to write to thank you and your team for the
fantastic support which you gave to Guinness
and Octagon throughout the tournament. Your
team were superb and I would be grateful if
you would pass on our thanks to them for helping
us to make the sponsorship such a success.
Throughout the event, the Rushmans team were
conspicuous by their professionalism and friendliness
and I very much hope that we will have the
opportunity to work together again in the future."
Sean O'Neill, Communication Director
Guinness
"Thank you for all
of your help with the recent Cricket World
Cup 99. After speaking to our photographers
who covered the world cup, they all had nothing
less than praise for Rushmans' organisation
of the event. Also, from my point of view,
based in the office arranging the diary, your
staff were friendly and helpful with every
issue which needed to be addressed. Please
pass on my comments and thanks to all concerned,
and I look forward to working with you in the
future."
Ian Day, Sports Picture Editor
PA Sport
"I am writing to thank
you for the assistance that your staff working
at the various Cricket World Cup 99 venues
gave to me as a journalist covering the recently
concluded event. They were unfailingly friendly,
helpful and good-humoured, invariably a pleasure
to deal with and prepared to do considerably
more than the minimum required, in spite of
the fact that journalists with deadlines are
rarely the easiest people in the world. Whoever
handled the recruitment should be congratulated."
Huw Richards, Cricket Correspondent
International Herald Tribune
"Now that the dust
is beginning to settle, I am simply writing
to thank you and your team for all your support
during the Cricket World Cup 99. We all very
much enjoyed working with you and I think you'll
agree that the relationship worked well for
both parties."
Terry Blake, Tournament Director
ICC CWC England 99
"Access to information
was unrivalled at any sporting event."
Ian Wooldridge,

"I just want to thank
you and your staff very much for your excellent
cooperation and support during the Euro 96
finals. Your attitude and contribution helped
enormously in making this event a success.
Euro 96 was a great pleasure, not least thanks
to you and your staff, and personally I learnt
a lot which could be useful for Euro 2000."
Frits Ahlstrom
UEFA
"As South Africa took
over the tournament from Kenya at the last
moment, the appointment of Rushmans was done
at a late stage. Despite critical time shortages,
the team from Rushmans performed the task admirably.
The coordination of accreditees throughout
Africa together with the tournament taking
place just after the December break exacerbated
the time shortages but this did not affect
their efficiency. Rushmans were entirely responsible
for running all four venue media centres together
with the coordination of all broadcasters accreditation.
The successful implementation of mixed zones
can be directly attributed to their assistance.
Finally I would not hesitate in recommending
the services of Rushmans as they performed
their task efficiently and were a credit to
the successful media management of the tournament."
Ian Riley, Tournament Director
African Cup of Nations South Africa 1996
"I thought it an opportune moment
to pass on my thanks for all the hard work
put in by yourself and your team at the Rugby
World Cup in South Africa. All our staff, photographers
and technicians who were present in South Africa
have remarked to me how well the accreditation
system worked and also any problems that occurred
were sorted out quickly and with the minimum
of fuss. I can think of no higher compliment
than that given by our top rugby photographer
Dave Rogers - "the best thing about Rushmans
is that they actually listen."
Martin Johnson, Assignments Manager
Allsport
"I thought that the
press arrangements and facilities at the Rugby
World Cup 95 were quite unbelievably good.
Dealing with the thousands of hacks cannot
be easy. But for an event of the size of South
Africa 1995, I cannot recall a single problem
of any sort at any venue. The accreditation
and the match ticketing went incredibly smoothly,
and indeed the thought that I could forget
all the potential hassles and simply sit down
and get on with the work was a valuable feeling.
The press centres themselves were excellent.
I look forward to meeting you again soon, but
in the meanwhile, congratulations again on
such a fantastic job."
Stephen Jones, Rugby Correspondent
The Sunday Times
"I would just like
to write to you both personally and on behalf
of the Executive Board of the European Youth
Olympic Days to thank you for all that you
and your company have done to support the event.
I know a lot of your staff were working under
considerable pressure and it was a credit to
them all that they maintained their sense of
humour and managed the situation extremely
successfully. I would like to formally thank
you and all your staff for contributing in
such a major way to a tremendously successful
event."
Neil Townshend, Chairman
EYOD Organising Committee Executive Board
"I thought it timely
to write to thank you and your staff for the
support and dedication given to Rugby World
Cup 1995 over the past months, culminating
in what can only be described as a media triumph.
A large percentage of this triumph was due
to the very fine efforts of you and your colleagues
and I send a genuine thank you to you all those
involved."
K A Rowlands, Director
IRFB Services Ltd
"On behalf of IMG South
Africa, I would like to thank you and your
dedicated team for the invaluable help we received
in making the 1995 Rugby World Cup a success.
Nigel thank you again for your team's professionalism,
it was a pleasure working with Rushmans."
David Barlow

of the sporting success that was RWC 1991."
Russell Thomas, Chairman

"The overall impression
created by Rushmans was of an extremely successful
operation. We have received many compliments
on the Euro 96 accreditation and media services,
and I am pleased to recommend the appointment
of Rushmans for similar projects in the future."
