Kevin first teamed with Rushmans in the mid 1980’s and was the launch editor of Sport Business International founded by Rushmans in 1996.
His early training in journalism was followed by more than a decade in PR and communications working in sectors including strategy, sport, hotels, leisure and government. He built on that experience when at Rushmans as Director of Communications from 1990. He handled the company’s communications for properties including Rugby World Cup and the World Student Games, Euro 96 amongst numerous other world scale media intense properties.
His journalism combined with projects for a range of clients including governments, federations, agencies and companies.
Kevin organises, hosts and chairs conferences and panels at events worldwide.
His approach to communication is straightforward. He believes the key skill is the ability to fully recognise, understand and appreciate project objectives and develop the communications strategies required to ‘deliver the messages that matter to the people who count’ drawing on the most appropriate and effective techniques to achieve and exceed the desired results.
